Happy New Year!
Welcome back to school.

In 2019, my goal is going to be about focusing on ME, MYSELF & I!
I will definitely lean on my wife to help me achieve some of my personal goals.

What goal(s) do you have for 2019?
How will you make sure you achieve your goal(s)?
Who will help you achieve your goal(s)?

Explain.

  1. I do not really have any goals for 2019 since there is not anything major or important. My grades do not matter for stuff like cegep so I am still messing around. If I did have a goal it would probably be to achieve decently high marks in math and science just so that I can be in the advanced science and math next year in grade 10. Currently I have ok marks so I am not a worried I just have to retain them and improve.

  2. One goal I definitely want to have reached by the end of 2019 is to have made a lot of money for the Europe trip. Since this trip is really expensive, I am going to save up almost every dollar I own so I can at least pay half of the total cost of the trip. I am currently trying to find a place that is hiring so I can get a job, but so far, I have had zero luck.

  4. One goal that I have for this new year is to lose some weight, and I know that this is basic and everyone says it, but for me it's different. It's different for me because I have said this for many years now, but it just hasn't worked, nut this year it's going to be different, I can feel it. I have already started with my goal(2 weeks), I have started by doing ab-workouts everyday and going to the gym three days a week(with Wednesday, Friday and the weekend off), I have also been eating healthier foods and not eating as much jink food. this has already worked because in those two weeks, I have already lost 14 pounds!

  5. In 2019, I'm going to be focusing more on my mental health. I want to stay away from friend drama as much as possible in the next few years of my school years because honestly, it's a pain to not be chosen. I've gotten in so many fights and it's making me go crazy. This year it's all about me. I also want to do better in school and I want to graduate in a few years. I'll need to work harder because nothing is achieved easily. My close friends have helped me a lot, and they've been through the drama too. I need more positivity too in my life.

  6. My main goal for 2019 is to get a better paying job for my future. I need this job to pay for the Europe trip and for anything I want to buy in the future. At the moment, I am an umpire but it does not pay that well which is why I need a better job to pay for the Europe trip. I will achieve this goal by finding a place to work with my parents to help me.

  7. For 2019 I really need to start eating breakfast. I never eat breakfast and it`s not for any other reason then I just rush in the morning and there is no time. But it is really important to not skip that meal because it is the most important one of the day. I will start waking up 5-10 minutes earlier every morning so I will have time to eat in 2019.

My goals for 2019 are to be on my phone much less and stop eating so much junk food. I think my sister and my friends are for sure the people that can help me with being on my phone less because they understand how hard it is and want me to get better. Eating less junk food is up to me and concentrating on really being able to know when to stop. My sister gets really annoyed with me and likes to have me feel pain so I think she’ll definitely help with getting me to eat less junk food. She also is planning on doing that too so she understands my situation.

  9. For me my main goal in 2019 in to spend more time with my friends and family and less time on my phone (according to my parents) because on my phone I can tell how much time I spend on it per day and i want to try to reduce that so then I could hang out with my best friends and family more. Also I want to work on my physical health because I am extremely lazy basically anywhere and so I want try to work on that by being more active and going outside and not being so lazy anymore

  10. I have several goals for 2019 but I think the main one is to spend more time with my family. I spend a lot of my time on my phone or doing other things and I've realized that I spend minimal time with them. Recently I noticed that I don't really spend much time with my family and it kind of sucks but I mean it's my fault because I was busy doing other things. Especially since my brother pretty much lives in the U.S. for school and only comes back a few times a year, I feel that I need to spend more time with him and my parents for our families relationship. To achieve this goal, I'm going to try and spend less time doing un-important things, like going on my phone, and have a conversation with my parents instead. Since my brother isn't at home much I'm going to try and talk to him at least 2 times a week. No one can really help me achieve this goal but myself and I'm going to try my best to stick to this goal all year.

  11. My news years resolution would most definitely have to be 1080p60. I find that it's just a great resolution for screens that can't go up to 4k. I just hate watching videos that are low resolution, so I will strive to get a higher resolution. Now, the first step is to make sure you have a screen that has the capability for HD. The next step is to make sure you have good internet. All people should want their new years resolution to be HD, because we are in 2019 now and have the technology for it.

  12. Karishma’s blog:

My goal for 2019 is to read more. Reading will help me improve my understanding and comprehension which is really important for school. I definitely do not read enough. I will read more if I choose a book that interests me. Another goal is to walk my dog more. I am the only one in my family who doesn’t walk my dog often. This will be good exercise for myself and my dog. She will also hopefully like me more because she tends to show hate towards me.

  13. One of my goals for 2019 it to fix my everso hectic sleep schedule. I have the tendency to go to bed at ungodly hours and have become a tiny bit sleep deprived. It can sometimes have an effect on my performance in class and my attention span. To achieve my goal, I will have to work on getting less distracted while working, start actually doing my homework earlier during the day and make sure to set limits for myself. That’s right, folks. No more staying up all night while telling myself, ‘just five more minutes… maybe ten’.

    1. Especially no more saying i'll go to bed at 12 but then it's 12:01 and now you have to wait 30 mins to 1 hour but the cycle just keeps repeating itself till you're going to have less than 4 hours of sleep....great blog!

  14. New years resolutions are pointless. I have yet to meet a single person who follows through with their new years resolutions to this day. I do not understand why people even wait until New Years to have a resolution or why it is such a common practice. It seems to me that a lot of people have resolutions just for the sake of having one. I know that this is not a very common opinion and I understand that many people think that they will follow through with theirs, but lets be honest, the odds of you actually making your goal by loosing weight or becoming rich just is not going to happen. If you want to change something do it, don't wait for the earth to spin around the sun.

  15. My main goal for 2019 is to learn Italian. I would really love to be able to speak and communicate with Italian people. Last summer I went to Italy and I wasn't able to communicate with anybody besides my family. The weird thing is I understand Italian really well but I can't speak it at all. I went to Italian school for 6 years and I kinda regret leaving because I only now realize how much I learned in it. Also, my mom speaks fluent Italian and an Italian dialect from where my grandparents are from, so it's kind of sad that I can't speak it at all especially since my whole family is fluent in it. Another goal that would be great to achieve is going to bed earlier. I go to bed really late and I'm always so tired in the morning and for the rest of the day.

    2. My family is also Italian! I completely understand what you're saying. At family dinners I'm always able to understand what they are talking about but I would kill to be able to join the conversation. Good luck!

  16. personally I find new years resolutions pointless, why wait an entire year to change? but if i have to have a resolution my main goal in 2019 is to make money, my second goal is to stay out of trouble, I will accomplish theses goals by trying not to do stupid stuff
and get a job. I highly doubt that anyone will help me with theses goals so i guess i will be helping myself.

  17. I only have one big new years resolution, that is to be more organized. I will execute this making a strict schedule and I obviously would have to follow that schedule, or else, it wouldn't work. And the only person that can help me is in fact myself cause I am pretty sure no one will bother telling me what to do if needed.

  18. For the new year my goal is to be more organized with my school work , meaning getting homework and projects done more efficiently and utilizing all the time that is given to make sure I hand it in the best work possible from me. The only person who can help me in this goal is myself

  19. My goals for 2019 are very simple. I want to get a job during the summer and I wanted to build up my body and gain more muscle. Im going to apply to numerous places but I dont want a job at tims or something. I want im gonna enjoy going to, the money will just be a bonus. Im also going to start going to the gym. Im going to make sure that I stay on schedule and limit my distractions.

  20. I dont really have goals for 2018 I mean if the usual works than working harder and better to get better grades and scores on tests. Also do other things with friends besides sitting down and playing video games with friends I mean I feel like I can probably achieve them. I feel like my parents will because they always tell me to get off the computer.

  21. My goals for 2019 are stay organized, drink more water and maintain a healthy lifestyle. Every year I make a list full of New Years Resolutions. Staying organized is important considering the busy life I live. Between school, sports and activities sometimes juggling everything at once can become very difficult. This year I'm trying to manage my time better as well as keep everything clean and organized. For example when my room is tidy it is so much easier to gather/find the things I need for soccer or school when I'm on the run. I'm also encouraging myself to drink more water. It is very important to drink lots of water daily. Often times I do not drink enough. Drinking water comes with many benefits including improving complexion, boosting energy, brain power and can prevent headaches, sprains and cramps. I'm counting on myself to complete these goals. My family will always be by my side to support me but I plan on completing these tasks individually.

  22. I always only make one goal for myself and that is to survive until next year and then make the same resolution as long as I archive my resolution each year I will live forever. other than that I don't really have any clear goals or objectives that I want to archive in the new year. I feel that i don't need the motivation of the new year to get me to do something I just do it when I feel like it and not because the earth rotated around the sun.

  23. I have two major resolutions this year. I would like to get a job and make money for the europe trip and I would just like to a better person in general. I think I'm a pretty good person, but I also think I could be better. I will probably lean on people who are close to me feedback and encouragement. Getting a job is another resolution and I hope my mom can help me a little bit with it, but soon I know ill be on my own with that.

I dont know why I want to do this as much as I do but i know that is important to save. I'm very excited about getting more in to stock because ive had some fun with simulators in the passed and i want to make some serious bank.
