After a full month of shutting down US federal employees, President Donald Trump has re-opened the United States and workers will go back to work and will be paid ($$$) again!

There are many stores, restaurants and places I would hate to see go but I believe that I would not Hate or love this. I would simply be disappointed. If I had to pick a place I would agree with the meme in the instructions. Google is a key part to many things I and many other people do. First of all many people would lose their pay. All your work on the different google work platforms such as docs or slides would be inaccessible. This could lead to a lot of panic and general unpleasantness around the world. In conclusion don't close the google.

DeleteI can not think of any establishment that I would like to see shutdown unless something immensely better would take its place. The only time that I have been sad to see a restaurant go is foo shing a chinese food restaurant mostly because it had really good peanut butter dumplings. They were not really dumplings more like shrimp wontons (which I prefer even more) dipped in a peanut butter sauce also now every other peanut butter sauce I find in chinese restaurants are to viscous.

DeleteI would hate to see the store Amnesia go. Whenever I go to the mall its the first store i go into. I have a bunch of clothes from there from socks to beanies. Amnesia is definitely one of my favorite stores and to see it go would be really disappointing
ReplyDeleteOne place I would definitely hate to see closed down is Chapters. I really love that store because it has a great selection of books, and because they always have something new. I am a big reader, so for a person like me, seeing this store close would be a little upsetting. Sometimes, you can go there to get a drink at Starbucks, and buy a book, sit down and read.

DeleteOne place that I would absolutely hate to see close would be where I used to do gymnastics. I know it's really random but it hold a special place in my heart. It was pretty much like a second home for most of my life and I have made so many friends and memories there that it would be heartbreaking not to see it open. To this day I still visit even though I don't do training there anymore because most of my coaches that I've had in the past are some of my closest friends now. I find most people there were like a second family and it was a place where everyone was friends and no one judge each other. If you had a problem you could pretty much talk to anyone and feel better in minutes. I know it's not something that you would hear of someone hating to see close but it's a very important place to me.

Deletea place id hate to see get shut down is probably tims just because i eat there very often and its kinda a tradition i have with my dad to go there before or after most of my hockey games. personally i don't like Mc D coffee as much so id hate to go there instead. I've been going there since i was little kid so i have a lot of memories that come with it.

DeleteOne place that I would miss so much is this restaurant called Golden Corral because whenever I would go to the States my family and I would always go to Golden Corral like for example, my parents took me on a road to Virginia beach, Myrtle beach and North and South Carolina and throughout that road trip we would always stop at Golden Corral because it was just a huge buffet filled with all of my favorite foods and desserts, and whenever we were about to leave you could always pick up a bag of free cotton candy from the dessert section and I would eat on the way to the next location for the road trip, and I have so many memories about that place so I would be very sad if it was closing down.
ReplyDeleteOne place I'd hate to see shut down would probably have to be Orange Julep, mainly because ever since I was a child, whenever I could get the chance, I would ask my parents if we can buy some. My grandparents would also always take my siblings and I to go get some, so I guess you can say it's a "tradition".

DeleteOne place I would hate to see shut down is the Hasu on St. Charles. Hasu is a buffet for Chinese food. I would hate to see this place shut down because my friends and I go all the time during the summers and it is delicious. Even now, we would go a lot.

DeleteA place that I would hate to see gone would be Dominos. I think Dominos always gets me in a very very good mood and without that beautiful pizza I would be a different person:). I place that I would love gone is the depanneur near my house. This depanneur is run by an old Chinese man that has tried to scam me on multiple occasions. To see his store gone would be very nice.

ReplyDeleteI really dont have a restaurant or store that i have so much i would like to see them close, but where i live there's no Wendy's, and i love Wendy's so it would be cool for one to open near my house. otherwise there's not really anything maybe a designer store, the closest one is down town.
ReplyDeleteA place that I would hate to see shut down is matsuno, because that's my favourite restaurant to go to with my friends. It's really good and we all get to go somewhere fun outside of school. At school we're always in such a bad mood, so outside of school it's great to be able to catch up at an awesome restaurant, and I know i would be extremely upset to see it go.
ReplyDeleteOne place that I would hate to shut down would be (agreeing with the meme up top) Google. It would suck so much. If you wanted to find an answer to something you would have to use yahoo which really bad in my opinion. We also wouldn't have Youtube, which is my primary source for entertainment. School would also be a lot slower because we would have to go back to using Microsoft Word and start bringing in USB keys again. Google just makes things so much simpler.

DeleteI doubt google will be able to shut down. because google is asearch engine abouviously they would have a headqurter but the informations there are only your personal data and and other things. if google's HQ was shut down everyone can still go on google and use it. If not they can transfer and allow people to use google via a new server from a different country but I see what you mean great blog. I don't mean to make fun or criticizes you just stating a fact.

If mcdonalds shut down I would have withdrawl symptoms like from drugs. Not eating a big mac is like not doinfg a line and when you stop doing cocaine your body is gonna start being retarded and not good. If Mcdonalds shut down, nobody would have the will to live.

It is so convenient and so good and they have all three meals there I love it there so much.To be completely honest Mcdonalds is probably my favorite food to eat everything on that menu excites me.

DeleteOne restaurant I would hate to see shut down is Pizza Hut. I don't want to see this place shut down because I have so many memories of this place and of making my own sundaes from the ice cream machine. I also really enjoyed eating the fresh, soft pizza. These are just some of the reasons why I really enjoy Pizza Hut and why I would hate to see it shut down.

DeleteThe one place I would absolutely hate to be shut down is Fairview, which I guess is a lot of place all in one. Fairview is the one place my friends and I can decide upon going when we want to hang out. There are so many options to go to at this mall which is why I think I like it so much, plus when w my family and I have to go buy a certain thing we will most likely go to Fairview to get it...
ReplyDeletethe one place that almost shut down was double pizza it was so good and so cheap but they switched it into a pizza hut. i have so many memories there with friends and family. we love to hang out there and the staff was so nice. a place that i want to shut down would probably be any vegan place. they are useless and no one goes. i love meat its so goood.
ReplyDeleteA place I would hate to see shutdown is Jukebox Burgers, the family restaurant. I literally love that place. I go there all the time with friends and family and I would hate to see it close down. Hopefully it will still be here for a while because they have really good food, and I go there all the time for my birthday. It's just such a classic place to go to. If it closed down I would be so upset.

DeleteI don't have any stores that I would love or to hate to shut down. I mean who still goes out shopping smh. I mean I do all my shopping online. Unless when you say store you mean by like the whole business I can't see Sony, or microsoft one of those types of company maybe even razer (not a razor a Razer). These company are the company people use the most. You see why i didn't put up apple because smh who cares about apple like who uses a macbook. I would would love to see apple shut down.

The main reason being it’s owned by my parents , if it were to close not only would I not be able to eat food there , my family would have no jobs . My father and mother opened their first restaurant at 19 and 21 so my whole life it’s been their only career and I don’t know what I would do or even what they would do if it were to close
ReplyDeleteA company I would love to see shutdown is the Pointe Claire snow clearing service. If this happened we would have an unlimited supply of snow days but as many of you know, if you have a snow day a ped day is removed because by law you have to have 180 school days each year. But I have thought about this and with the fact that the snow clearing company shut down the government would be so distraught about that that they wouldn't pay much attention to the fact that the schools have missed many days of school. This may also cause the fact that the government would have to spend alot of money on this new snow clearing company so then there wouldn't be enough money to pay for the heating and cooling systems thus school will also be shutdown.
ReplyDeleteI would really hate to see Second Cup Coffee or Roots shut down. I love second cup coffee so much, its amazing and roots has the most comfortable clothing on the planet, I would hate to see them shut down. One brand that I was really sad to see shut down was HMV. R.I.P. HMV you will be missed (by me at least). Anyway, I would love to see off white shut down. Not because I absolutely hate it (I only dislike it), but because I think it would be really funny to see all the reactions from people who really like them.

DeleteI think I would be very disappointed if Tim Hortons were to close down for many reasons. One being Tim Hortons is a staple for Canadians, the same way guns are for Americans. Tim Hortons also represents Canada in a way. I also eat and get drinks from Tim Hortons often. I have created many memories at Tim Hortons and would be a bit sad if it were to close down.
ReplyDeleteI don’t that I would ever have such strong feelings about an establishment shutting down. However, one store, or franchise, that I would we be sad to see shut down would be Dollarama. The dollar store is where you can get practically anything, at the low low price of less than four dollars. This is where I’d go to buy snacks, cheap art supplies, containers, replacement school supplies… This cheap heart of mine really appreciates the variety of items offered there. It’d be truly unfortunate if Dollarama were to shut down.
ReplyDeleteI would hate to see McDonald's shut down. It tastes good and is a source of junk food for me. I would hate to never get a McFlurry or a Milkshake from McDonald's. I also think that almost every family in the US would be quaking because their main source of food has shut down. They probably wouldn't know what to do and would starve. But thankfully McDonald is probably ere to stay.

ReplyDeleteThere is an establishment that shall remain unnamed that I am required by law to frequent nearly every day. This establishment teaches me naught by but social skills. I would not cry if this said place shut down the only shame would be that I would miss the cookies made by the employees of this said Establishment.
