To be completely honest, I have never had a bad experience during holiday times. All of my experiences have been very good and that's why Christmas is my favorite holiday,EVER. I remember when I might have been 6-7 years old when my grandmother dressed up as Santa and surprised my sister and my cousins. I pointed out her normal everyday shoes that no Santa would wear. Everybody laughed at my grandmother. This was one of the moments I remember the best from any of my holiday get-togethers with my family.
For me personally I never really had a bad time during holidays with my family because what we normally do is that my dad takes my beither and I to go see the Christmas lights on Christmas Eve then we go and get hot chocolate and head back home. Afterwards my parents let us open one gift then we usually have fried chicken form KFC and then my brother and I get ready to sleep in the living room for Christmas and then my parents bring down the presents in the middle of the night. Afterwards they head back upstairs to go to sleep my brother and I try to figure out what we are getting for Christmas and we check our Christmas stockings and then they yell at us to go back to bed because we got were too noisy and got busted. On Christmas Day we pick up our grandmother and open presents and we lounge around in our pyjamas before it is time to eat then at the end of the night we just watch Die Hard
my worst Christmas experience was probably last year when my toilet broke and the water started dripping through our ceiling in the middle of our dinner, definitely not fun! 2018 was not a good year for me, as I think many can relate, it was just a hard year, a lot of things were going on and it was very stressful. 2019, I hope will be everything 2018 was not, I hope that it will be fun and more relaxed, but who knows it can be even worse than 2018!
2018 has been pretty wild with many ups and downs but hey it's all good. In 2019 I want to be more productive, because to be honest I am very lazy a lot of the time. I am very excited from the winter break. The holidays aren't a big deal in my house but I still like enjoy the time off and getting to see friends and family. And the Christmas food is good it gets me very exciting to me.
When I think about all my holidays they all kind of blend into one another but I have one memory where I hit my head and I was slightly bleeding. 2018 was good in my opinion I messed around in sec 2 and went on Boston trip. 2019 is probably going to be similar to 2018 except I hopefully won't mess around as much.
I think your plan to not mess around is good becuase you will mes around less therefore increasing productivity! Keep up the good Worl amd don’t forget to subscribe to pewdiepie!
the best Christmas I've ever had was when my parents got a puppy for my sister and me. She is the best dog in the world. She is so well behaved that I don't even need to use a leash when I walk her sometimes. Its pretty cool and I honestly don't think you can top a dog when it comes to Christmas gifts.
The holidays are always very fun. I always have family that visits, and a few years ago they didn’t and I was so upset about it. That was probably my worst Christmas. 2018 has been a relatively good year. Not much happened that I’m super proud of or anything though, i kind of feel like it fades into the background. I kind of got a cool job which is fun, and is a great experience so I guess that’s the highlight of my year! In 2019 I hope to pursue this experience, and keep doing it more often. Because I’m older and it’s a new year, I think I will get more opportunities. Other than that, at the end of next year (2019) I hope to be able to say that I am proud of what happened in the past year, and have no regrets. I hope to have lots of surprises and awesome things happen. I don’t know what exactly I want but I guess I’ll just have to wait and see what 2019 holds.
For this story, I am going to repeat a previous blog. When I was twelve years old and it was Christmas day, me and my family sat around the christmas tree exchanging gifts. Finally, when it was my turn to get my gift, my dad handed me an envelope and told me to open it. I freaked out when I saw tickets to see my favourite band in concert. And what a great concert it was. 2018 was generally a good year. There were a few major down points, like stressing out over the midterms, and highs, like going to Boston with the school. I hope 2019 is a good year.
I don't think I have any bad holiday memories but I've had many good ones including last years. So exams were over and it was time for winter break, I was so excited since we had 2 weeks off. On Christmas day my mom surprised me with a trip to Florida, just for her and I to go and meet some of my second cousins that I had never met before, plus it was going to be my first time on a plane. So I got meet my extended family for the first time and I loved it because isn't that what Christmas is about?, spending time with your family. Anyways it was probably one of the most exciting holiday breaks I've had and I'll never forget the whole experience of meeting a relative and them actually becoming like one of my best friends. Overall 2018 wasn't the worst year of my life but it for sure doesn't go into the category of one of the best years I've had. There were many ups and downs and many situations I could've avoided but I mean I treat those as learning experiences. It was very stressful and I hope that 2019 will be better but we say that at the beginning of every year not knowing what's to come. Honestly for me there are no expectations for 2019 because I just want to see what will come my way and whatever happens, happens.
I have never really had a bad holiday memory but I have had many great holiday memories. My favorite holiday memory was probably last christmas. I loved this holiday so much because I got amazing gifts like a new phone and bacon socks and I also had a great time with all of my family during this winter vacation. 2018 was a great year for me because I made some new friends and I also learned a lot of new skills like how to make poached eggs. I think that 2019 will also be a great year because I have great people in my life who support me and I know how to make poached eggs.
2018 was a year filled with mix emotions, realizations and expectance . I believe 2018 was a good year because I have learnt so much this year , I really feel as though I have grown immensely as an individual. Over the course of the year there were bumps in the road , times where it felt almost impossible and overwhelming but there were also countless days spent laughing with friends and making memories 2018 has taught me who I really am and even the good and bad of 2018 made me,me.
2018 has been like any other year for me with happy and sad moments. I fell like i changed a lot in 2018. Every year i learn more and more and after this year i feel like i know a lot more. I think 2018 was a pretty good year i got closer with some people and drifted away from some. I don't think I've really ever had a bad holiday memory, every holiday for me is spent with family's and friends and i don't think I've ever had a really bad one. For 2019 i just want a fun drama free year
The worst holiday I have ever had was definitely was 2014. That year I was sick on Christmas. I was really sad because all my family was downstairs celebrating and I was upstairs sick. I had to stay away from everyone. I find that 2018 was a very good year for me. I traveled to a lot of places and a lot of things changed. Can't wait for what 2019 has in store for me.
I can't remember the last time I had a great Christmas memory but, it doesn't mean that these previous memories are bad, just not great. I like to think that I am very appreciative for the gifts, and in that very happy. But I can't seem to recall an amazing over the top or beautiful Christmas. My favorite part of 2018 was when my dance team ranked 12 best in Canada and expect to do even better in 2019...
My best Christmas happens every year, it's the best, everyone looks forward to it, but sometimes it goes over looked. It's my favorite and probably a lot more people, the BREAK. It is 3 weeks of no school, it's amazing!
The reason I think 2019 is going to be a good year is because I am surrounded by better people than last year and I have some better friends. I am also going to try to be more positive this year.
The holidays were never really a huge deal for my family, but it’s still usually a fun time. One Christmas that I distinctly remember is when I was around five, and we went over to my godparents’ house for a party where they actually take the holidays pretty seriously. I remember thinking how amazing all the lights and decorations they had put up were. One of the parents had even dressed up as Santa Claus, though as a child Mr Kringle always gave me the creeps. I think that though there were many big things that happened around the world, 2018 went by in a flash, so it’s sort of getting meshed with my memories of the other years in my mind. Like every year, I’d like to tell myself that I’ll be more productive, more organized or sleep more, but the coming year is most likely going to play itself out like the last.
Holidays are meant to be spent with the ones you love.. But my family isn't really like "that". Whenever my dad or mom's relatives would come over, I'm instantly not happy. All the years they come, it's just horrible for my siblings and I, but last year's visit from my father's side, both aunt and uncle's was the worst. We don't usually visiting during the daytime because they're usually shopping canada stores and whatever because they moved to the US a while back, so it's dinner time and when we get there, we find out that my uncle's wife, only got food for my grandparents, her family and my aunt (5+3+5). She didn't bother buying us food, and we were all confused is to why she would do that. The eldest cousin offers my sister his food because she's giving them a disgusted face, and when I look at my "aunt" she gives him a dirty look (a face like; don't give them it) but she doesn't say anything. In the end, we didn't end up eating and went to Mcdonald's.
The holidays are always loads of fun. The only rather disappointing memory happened in 2015. My aunt lives in Barbados and every couple years she decides to come down and celebrate the holidays with us. Only this year in particular her kids were going to join us (my cousins). They are all in their 20's. The two boys live in New Hampshire while the youngest girl lives in Connecticut. It's rare that we can get the whole family together so everyone was very excited for all of them to join us this holiday season. The day before they were all supposed to arrive the boys flight was cancelled due to the snow storm. Everyone was quite disappointed. My aunt and cousin Lanie were able to make it but things were not complete without them. We all made the best of the situation even if only half of them were able to make it.
As for 2018, It has been a great year. The highlight of this year in particular was the fact that my soccer team achieved our goal of qualifying for AAA! there have been many ups and down during this year but in the end overall it was a lot of fun. I can't say I am not excited for 2019. I always tr to make new years resolutions and try my best to stick to them.
This year was okay, I got grounded a lot, that was kinda annoying but my parents aren’t too great at punishing me, they let me have my phones, TVs, and I’m allowed to have people over so like it’s not really being grounded but still. Holidays are pretty boring in my family because everyone is either dead or live super far away, I get a lot of presents though so that’s good. I hope 2019 is going to be better.
One thing that i remember doing when i was younger was looking at my gifts ahead of time. My mom always kept all the gifts in her closet. One year my mom got me an xbox 20 days before christmas. I couldn’t wait that long so what i did was when i got home from school i would take it out of the box and play with it. I planned my reaction on christmas day so my mom wouldn’t have known that i opened it. That was a good christmas. A lot of people said that they didn’t like 2018 but i really enjoyed it. I really matured throughout the year. I feel like that 2019 isn’t gonna be that good. we just have to see.
For me the holidays are always fun because I get to go back to Vancouver and see my family. Usually my family and I would go up to Whistler to ski but sadly this year we aren't. That has to be my only disappointment of 2018 besides the youtube rewind. It was an utter disappointment. There were only about 5 relevant people in the entire thing and it just sucked. Half of it was Fortnite and Baby Shark. They didn't have anything about Pewdiepie and the war against T-series which was the biggest event on youtube this year. They were just trying to be so politically correct to the point that it sucked. I think it deserves the 10 million dislikes it has and the title of most disliked video on youtube. I think 2019 will be the same as 2018 in terms of my life, and will even have a terrible youtube rewind. SUB TO PEWDS, UNSUBSCRIBE FROM T-SERIES
This year was an amazing year. 2018 by far my favourite year ever. 2019 will hopefully be better or the same. Best part of this year was the summer. I had lots of fun and finally got a full time job for the summer and I also got a scooter which is like another step into independence. 2019 like I said will be good and also I have some moves and plans ready for the summer. This Christmas will be good I know for sure and plus my birthday is legit 2 days after Christmas. but the worst Christmas was when my dad threw the Christmas tree out the front door cause he got mad it wouldn’t stand straight. It was pretty funny to be honest. Anyways merry Christmas and happy Hanoukah.-Lambros Xenos
So many amazing things happened in 2018. I got an amazing intern opportunity at my camp for one week over the summer, had a great time at my summer pool, spent lots of time with friends and playing hockey and I made so many new friends along the way. Although it was a great year, my mind has still been dealing with some left over bad thoughts from 2017, such as the loss of a certain family member and other things that will always affect me. Excluding that, 2018 was a great year for me. I'd say 2019 probably won't be as good but I am hoping to have a good hockey season free of bullying. I would also like a year without peer pressure from certain people, but other than that I don't know what I really want to change in 2019. I'd say my best holiday memory was in 2016, the last time we had my entire family together. I wish it was still like this and here and there, especially on christmas, I get a little sad that we can't have the entire family around. Christmas is still a happy time though, and missing people should not take away from the joy of the holidays.
My 2018 was pretty decent. Definitely one of my 2018 highlights would be going to Mexico with my whole family. Honestly i wish we didn't come back. I got a lot closer with my family this year and i'm very happy about that. i also made some new friends that i'm happy to have met. Im excited to see what 2019 will be like and hopefully I have as many happy memories in the new year as I did in 2018.
2018 was a decent year, I did go to Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic which was very enjoyable at least until we left the resort where I saw the eminence poverty of the country and it made me feel like a horrible person. Other then that in 2019 I hope that it will involve very easy Finals and minimal homework so I can sleep more.
2018 was an ok year. I got to go to Italy for the first time and even visited my grandmother's hometown. Other than that 2018 was pretty bad. There was a lot of drama and a lot of stress from school. My expectations for 2019 are pretty high because I have better friends now and will hopefully get to go back to Italy.
2018 was a decent year you can't say that it was the best but I also can't say that it is the worst. Also I don't really have a good holiday or a worst I don't really do Christmas. But I am happy to find out what 2019 has in store for me hopefully it is nothing bad.
All of my holidays have been vey positive and there were really no negative rxpiriences to think about. My best hliday was probably qhen I got my xbox one S. I had been waiting for it to come and when it finally arrived I was overjoyed. Year *clap* review *clap* 2018 was an interesting year full of amzing people and crushing loss (see youtube rewind for indepth analysis) but overall it was good year. I have hope for 2019. It seems pretty promising and as long as we don’t all die im pretty happy.P.S. Subscribe to Pewdiepie to help him

ReplyDeleteSo many amazing things happened in 2018.
ReplyDeleteI'd say my best holiday memory was in 2016, the last time we had my entire family together. I wish it was still like this and here and there, especially on christmas, I get a little sad that we can't have the entire family around. Christmas is still a happy time though, and missing people should not take away from the joy of the holidays.
I also had family visit me from far away and went on two amazing school trips to Boston and Stratford. It was a great time.
DeleteMy 2018 was pretty decent.
ReplyDelete2018 was a decent year, I did go to Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic which was very enjoyable at least until we left the resort where I saw the eminence poverty of the country and it made me feel like a horrible person. Other then that in 2019 I hope that it will involve very easy Finals and minimal homework so I can sleep more.
ReplyDelete2018 was an ok year. I got to go to Italy for the first time and even visited my grandmother's hometown. Other than that 2018 was pretty bad. There was a lot of drama and a lot of stress from school. My expectations for 2019 are pretty high because I have better friends now and will hopefully get to go back to Italy.
ReplyDeleteGreat blog hope 2019 is great for you since 2018 wasn't
Delete2018 was a decent year you can't say that it was the best but I also can't say that it is the worst. Also I don't really have a good holiday or a worst I don't really do Christmas. But I am happy to find out what 2019 has in store for me hopefully it is nothing bad.
