Growing up I liked the idea of wearing costumes but for me they were really uncomfortable so I did not like going trick or treating. My best Halloween memory was when I was in elementary school that Halloween I did not go trick or treating and because normally you stay up late I got to play video games all night long.
My best Halloween moment must have been last year's Halloween. Me and my friends were doing our halloween around Beaconsfield. After two hours of trick-or-treating, we decided to call it a night. On our way back, we decided to do one more stop at a house that seemed empty. Going up the stairs, we noticed that no one was in the house. However, what we did notice was a large box full of chips, right in the open. In less than ten seconds, the box was empty. Me and my friends then continued our way back, laughing all the way.
My best Halloween memory has to be three years ago, when I went with my best friend, who I don't see as much. I went to his house(he lives in a rich neighborhood so there was lots of candy) at around 5 o'lock and we finally finished at around 11. We each ended up having two pillow cases worth of candy each and it was amazing.
My best Halloween memory was for sure last year when I got together with a ton of my friends and went trick or treating. Normally I would get together with one or two friends and go trick or treating but last year a big group of my friends decided we were going to go together. We had so much fun walking in my neighbourhood as a big group and I honestly would do it again. We didn't get a lot of candy which I didn't really mind considering that we had a great time all together and like I said I would for sure do it again.
I am like griffin I thought it was a cool idea when I was growing up to get free candy but it doesn't matter at all to me. So i just never went also my parents were just going to throw away the candy anyways so I never went trick or treating. I would just stay home and play video games and sometimes hangout with friends but yeah that what I do during my Halloween.
Also I never hand out candy because the parents that are with the kids think that we should compliment on the kids costume. And when you don't they kind of stare at you in a mean way. If you compliment on a costume that took probably a year to make the parents give you a look that is even worse.
I don't remember one specific halloween but i remember in elementry school every halloween was always a blast. We never did work during the day, people brought in snacks for the class and we got to dress up. So school was like a free day and then going home and getting ready to go trick or treating and then going trick or treating. I just always loved halloween and got excited every year for it.
Omg I remember the days when kids would bring in treats. There was one kid in my elementary that always brought cupcakes to class every Halloween since it was also his birthday.
Halloween 2013 was by far my favourite spooky season memory. I was 9 years old and it was the first time my mom was letting me trick or treat with my bestfriend. This was earth shattering since I had always been used to trick or treating with my cousins. I had dressed up as a fireman that year and it must’ve been my favourite costume of all time. I also remember collecting a bunch of chocolates and candy. That year was probably the most successful trick or treating experience. Not only did I come back home with a bunch of candy but we had stopped at a house that was giving out full size coffee crisps! FULL SIZE!! Do you know how rare that is!
Honestly every Halloween has been pretty memorable for me. I remember my first year in high school I went trick or treating with a whole bunch of friends I had just made in my first two months in high school. I was super excited because I had gotten to go with all these new girls. Sec 1 Ange was shaking because I was making friends.
My best Halloween moment would definitely be when I was 11. I was trick or treating with my friend and we ended up finding 3 houses in a row, where they just left the candy out in a bowl saying please take 1. Obviously we just took the entire bowl from all the houses and dumped it in our bag. It was hilarious because we were also lucky enough to be one of the first people to trick or treat. The funny part was we were behind 2 other kids who actually only took 2. For me, that's just an inhuman thing to do
my best Halloween memory was when in grade 6 I went out with all my friends from elementary school we all went out and got so much candy then a kid tried to steal it all from us so we got away and watched him bike home, we wrote down his address bought 12 gees and egged his house. Don't worry he deserved it but ya that was really fun. then we all went back to my house and ate all our candy
Most of my Halloweens have been quite boring. Nothing ever special ever happens. If I had to pick a Halloween that was the best for me it would be this year's Halloween. My cousin was dressed up as a big inflatable T-Rex and it was awesome. People would constantly ask to take pictures with him and others just took them without asking. He kept falling as his plastic piece that he was looking through got fogged up and he couldn't see. Overall it was a very fun experience.
My best Halloween memory was when I was 12 years. The reason I had so much fun this holiday was because I was with all my elementary school friends going house to house getting free candy. We also kept yelling random things such as merry Christmas and happy New-Year to confuse the elderly people on my street. In conclusion, Halloween is one of my favorite holidays and this one was one of my favorite Halloweens.
love Halloween. I'm going to say these three past Halloweens have been the best for two main reasons. I was old enough to finally go out with friends and hang out and second of all, my parents let me watch horror movies! I love horror movies, they are just fascinating to me. I don't know what it is about them that is just so amazing, but I love them and they're easily my favourite genre of movie. I also love hanging you with my friends because its lots of fun, especially compared to hanging out with siblings. All this to say Halloween in recent years has always been lots of fun for those two reasons. I also went trick-or-treating this year which was great, my main supply of candy for the rest of the year. Free candy.
I'm not quite sure what to write for this one, it is quite difficult to spin this into a completely unrelated subject of my choosing. I could go on about the history of this diabetic holiday. Then there is the possibility that I go into the origin of this pagan festival. God forbid I would answer the inquiry posed by Mr. Katz or Ms. Carbary, even so, I could discuss how myself and my friends dressed up as a mariachi band and encountered a slightly racist Texan man. Yet it is all in vain for I have quite possibly exceeded 60 words.
Halloween is a beautiful time of year for my family and I. Almost every year my family would all go over to my uncle's house to celebrate the holiday. My uncle is huge into Halloween and decorates his house to the rim with spooky things. I had the best neighbourhood for trick or treating when I was young. Every house was open to giving candy. I don't really have a memory that is by far the best but I always loved at the end of my trick or treating, trading candy with my cousins.
It isn't spooky season anymore, but another great Halloween right? My best Halloween memory from my years of dressing up was definitely when I dressed up as a princess in kindergarten. I had the whole pink gown and matching hat. I think I got the most candy that year, but then again it was 9 years ago and I was the smallest in my class, I also went with my family and it was the most fun I had in a while. Halloween 2018 was a really good year too though, I got so many comments in the hallways as I pass by sec 1s-2s, my makeup was gross and all but my contacts were the thing keeping my "costume" going.
To be perfectly candid, most of my memories dating anywhere past last month are as hazy as any dream to me now. So unfortunately, I do not have many memories of past Halloweens and other holidays. One thing that I can distinctly remember, however, is that I had insisted on wearing the same pumpkin costume three years in a row through the ages of four to six. Apparently, I did so because it made me “feel bouncy”. I have also kept up my tradition of taking candy from my younger siblings’ trick or treat bags, slowly enough so they never notice until it is far too late. Ah, how I do love the spoopy season.
My best Halloween memory is from when I was 5 years old. I was trick or treating with my parents when there was someone in a really scary costume. I got so scared I wanted to go home. We finally got home and there was a trick or treater at the door, so I opened it because I was so excited to see the costume and their happy face when I would give them the candy. I opened the door and it was the same person I was super scared of and ran home to avoid. I was crying and screaming and I was so scared, but they took off their scary mask and they were just a normal kid. I like that memory because now when I look back to it, it reminds me of a simpler time, and now I can just laugh at the story which is always fun.

My best Halloween memory was when I was 8 and went trick or treating with my brother in Toronto, we stayed out cousins place and went trick or treating for hours ,it was the most candy I’ve ever gotten and we all got home at like 11 which was crazy for me at 8
My best Halloween memory was when I was in 6th grade and I was trick or treating. We past a house where it was sponsored by the Montreal canadiens foundation. Not only it was a crazy house with a lot of decorations, but I am a huge fan of the Habs so it was pretty cool haunted house for me.
My best Halloween memory is the one that just passed. A few months our dance studio had been asked dance to Thriller and dress up for the St-Lazare municipality. And as we agreed, we learned that dance in only a few weeks, gathered the supplies needed and did it. The day of, I had an early dismissal in order to get dressed up, etc. And 8 hours later, after 33 times of dancing for 5h30 hours straight, we were done. We had a lot of fun doing what we love. That is why this is my favorite Halloween memory.

DeleteI have to handout candy sometimes I do not think parents ever come with their children directly to the door unless they are a toddler.
DeleteI just say nice costume! happy halloween every time. can't go wrong with that.

ReplyDeleteI agree with that Andres because how can you only take one? It is impossible for me to have that much restraint.
