Every march brake I do many things, such as hiking in the frigid land of the Himalayas. While I try to climb the largest mountain known to man. Other times I go camping in the woods for weeks at a time. However there is one consistency I always do all of this in my dreams. So what I truly do march break is sleep, a lot.
Every march break is super relaxed for me. For some reason during the march break I always do basically nothing. Don't get me wrong though it is a good time. I really enjoy the time to myself because people are very annoying. During the break I will definitely hang out with some friends but the break is still mine so I will use it wisely.
I can barely recount the differences in my march breaks I always spend the week being hungry because I just play video games and forget the fact that I need to eat. So whenever I have a tiny break I run to get a light snack then go back to playing games. My best march break was when I was selling virtual items and made 18 dollars.
I like so many others do not do much with my march break. I often stay home and relax. I sleep in late and go to bed late. I play a lot of video games. Honestly I wouldn't have it any other way. Why go do things when you can just stay at home and chill. I hope this march break is like all the other ones.
I, personally, think reading would be a better alternative to video games. I have many book recommendations. "It" by Stephen King, "The Maze Runner" series by James Dashner and "The Hunger Games" by Suzanne Collins are just a few amazing reads that I would recommend.
March break is great. Honestly, a whole week just to chill a little is amazing. I like it a little more than Christmas break, since during Christmas, there is a lot of holidays, so everyone is busy. Here, a lot more relaxation. We don't have any big plans, although my family might be going to Vermont for a few days. Most of the time when we stay in Montreal, I visit friends.
I love march break because there is no real reason why we just randomly get a week off school but hey, less school is always good. My best march break was last year. We went to cuba and it was really fun. I used to like winter a lot but this winter has just been extremly brutal. I wish I was going away this year as well but whatever. The greatest thing in the world is waking up in front of the beach. Theres just something about tropical weather that really makes me happy.
March break for me is kind of weird. For part of the time, I'm in Montreal all alone while my friends are traveling the world and I just want it to be warm and snowy. The other bit of the time, I'm in Mont-Tremblant skiing and having a blast. So its really either great or not great. I always go to Mont-Tremblant during the break to ski, as it is one of my favourite activities and is a shared interest of everyone in my family. I don't really have a best march break since they're all kind of the same. They're all a lot of fun though.
honestly I never do much for spring break, I normally just catch up on sleep, watch Netflix or hang out with friends. I've never been anywhere for spring break other than my cottage. my cottage is really fun during the summer, but during spring when its still cold it could get boring.
My favourite march break was probably my trip to Maine. We traveled down to Maine for a family/hockey trip. It was a tournament called The Lobster Fest that was 4 days long. So my family and I decided to rent a small house near the beach and book 10 days down in Maine. It was awesome because my whole hockey team was down there with me for atleast 5 days so we got the hang out at the beach and at each others houses which was so fun. A great trip in general!
I didn't even know we had march breaks- Last year I don't remember having a march break, but this year, next week, I'm staying home and sleeping in till the afternoons because I never get the full hours of sleep, or I'll go hang out with friends during the day. We still have projects due over the break which are the only things I'm bummed out about.
I remember going to Cuba and that was the best thing ever. It was so hot,and the ocean was so turquoise. It was really my happy place. I also remember eating a lot because there was an awesome buffet, and a food stand on the beach. I was really living my best life. I also became closer with my sisters because I spent the whole trip with them, and I don't get to see them very often.
My favorite March Break memory would have to be the time my whole family and I went on the Carnival Liberty cruise ship. It was the first time I had ever been on a boat big enough to accommodate close to three thousand people! Not to mention the boat had all kinds of cool things like watersides, a 4-D cinema, an ice rink and a huge arcade. One of my favorite things about the cruise was the 24/7 food! Even at 3 am you were able to go down to the deck and get some delicious cheesy pizza. What made this vacation so fun was the fact that my aunts, uncles, cousins and even my grandparents came along. We visited a bunch of different Caribbean islands while spending a bunch of time together. Everyone had a great time!
My favourite march break memory was last year. Last year my family and I all went to Mont Tremblant and spent a weekend there in a hotel. The hotel was really nice and had an outdoor pool and hot tub in the winter. I had so much fun this trip going skiing from 9-12, eating, then going skiing again for the rest of the day. We were also allowed to bring our dog on this trip which was really cool.
my march breaks are usually pretty simple, some times we go on trips but not always, usually its just to chill with the boys, do dumb things and go to parties, stuff like that. My history teacher gave us a project and told us to work on it during the break, I found that pretty funny. I don't really have anything planed, I rather just go with the flow than have solid plans because I usually rather forget about them and do something else or just don't feel like doing what ever that plan is.
March break isn't really memorable for me because I've never been on vacation during March break, but I would love to go on vacation somewhere hot. Usually, I just spend a week relaxing, catching up on sleep and watching a lot Netflix. I really enjoy doing basically nothing during March break because the period of time between our last big break in December and now is a long time of doing nonstop work for school.
My favourite march break memory was probably when I went on the Norwegian Breakaway cruise with my family and cousins. I was in grade 7 when we went on the cruise and I had the best time. I had been on cruises before then but it wasn't the same without having my cousins there. It was so hot and there were tons of waterslides on the ship and many other things to do. I remember being on the ship and then realizing that one of my best friends was also there with her family That made my trip a lot better since I aways had someone to hang out with. That was the march break that I had the most fun and I hope to do it again some time soon!
My favorite march break moment has to be last year. I say it is my favorite because last year, my family went to Tremblant. It was really fun, we went sledding down the mountain, went swimming in the water park and hiking. This was also fun because at the same time, my best friend's was there at the same time and it wasn't even planned
My family and I never really do anything during March break, we usually go skiing during the weekend, and the rest of the week consists of a whole lot of nothing. Because everyone is home, things can get pretty hectic, so I usually hide away in my room whenever I can. I think my March break last year must have been the most successful for me; I’d managed to get out of spending mandatory family time with my siblings for the majority of the week.
As usual, my memory is not serving well because once again I cant remember any memory from any past march breaks. Like I've said before, its not that I didn't have a good time and decided to forget about it, its just that I don't remember. I remember the feeling of being happy but other than that no memory.
today is my first day back from the best march break experience I've ever had. I went to japan, Singapore, Thailand and Hong Kong all in one trip. going to these amazing destinations was such a great experienced I will remember it for years to come. Each location was special in its own way. i liked the way that everything was so picturesque in japan, almost as if every single thing was designed to look the way it did, also it is very much a vertical city and each building was more than one thing, for example an apartment building was also a doctors office and a 711 all in one. Singapore was fantastic because of the way the city was designed, all of the visual attractions worked together to make you feel almost as if you were in a video game. thailand was more relaxed, we were on a private island in a beach front villa so it was very high end, but when we did day trips i found myself in a very underdeveloped city that resembled something like the Dominican republic. Hong kong was super cool, much like japan it is a very vertical city but everything is sort of thrown together and much less clean, also like japan, many of the buildings served more then one purpose. my hotel was connected to a mall for example. the down side to this trip was all of the flying I had to do but other than that was a truly breathtaking experience.
I honestly have no real memory of any march break. What I usually do is nothing. I think I sort of just use it as a mental break. I just eat, sleep and watch netflix, otherwise I just blank. If I could do anything for march break I would got to fairview. But I wouldn't have the energy to go.
I dont really have any memories from march break, I think Mr Katz gives us really bad questions about memories because honestly, most peoples lives are boring, not everybody has a thousand memories for every specific little thing, not everybody just goes to Cuba and travels all around the world, in reality, all everybody does in march break is sleep.
My favorite March Break memory was when my family and I went to Florida for March Break and my Nana came to visit us from Georgia because we wanted to bring her out because it was her birthday, we went to Disney Springs and Clearwater Beach and we had so much fun. Near the end of the trip my parents surprised us by telling us we were going to disney world!
