  1. I honestly did not achieve much of note this year. Though if I had to say something I would say that it was getting back on the honor roll. I had been on the honor roll for all of sec 1 and the first two terms of sec 2 but then I got lazy and ended up not getting in in term 2 of sec 2. So I worked a little and got back on. I was pretty happy with myself after getting it again.

  2. I have to say that this year was very interesting and exciting. I joined Jazz band this year and it is coming to an end this Tuesday. I got my first phone which is quite a big deal. I guess a big achievement educational wise was getting 94% on the math midterm. I had struggled a lot last year, and this year, I made a huge come-back. Overall , this year was successful personal-wise and educational-wise.

  3. i didn't really do much this year and don't have any out of the ordinary achievement. one thing that i am proud of myself for is keeping my grades pretty good all year. usually my grades lower in the middle of the year but not this year!

  4. There wasn't any really difficult task I accomplished this year. If anything, grade 9 was much easier than grade 8. One difficult task we did this year was the math building project. This task was difficult because we had to do a lot of calculations and then build a 4 foot tower out of cardboard. Even though this was not easy my teammates and I worked really well together and we managed to finish this project very efficiently.

  5. I mean grade 9 was a normal school year the normal meet your teachers pretend you like them and pay attention in class. Than you sit there do test, homework and others. Nothing was hard it was just very repetitive and sometimes annoying but we all managed to get through the school year without a problem so good job everyone.

    1. I would say that my school year was normal but to say that there was no challenges seems a bit extreme.

  6. Not going to lie grade 9 was pretty tough I lost a lot of friends and started to see the other side of people. Everyday seemed longer then the day before and it felt like the year was never going to end. ALSO THE SCHOOL WAS CONSTANTLY FREEZING! Even with all these challenges I am proud of myself because I was able to stay concentrated on what's important, not be too effected on what was happening to me and branch out to make new friends.

  7. I tend to be quite a anxious person in general in my every day life therefore you can only imagine how much of a basket case i become with the approaching of exams. During exam period I ten to be more on edge and begin to stress out about everything. Even the smallest things could tick me off. Over the past couple years now exam period has consisted of numerous panic attacks and some crying however this year I was surprisingly very calm cool and collected. I made all my notes weeks before the exam and I felt ready when it came time to write them. I was shocked! Not even one panic attack! I truly think that is my biggest accomplishment this year.

  8. For me school went by really fast I still remember pretty well how I felt at the start way back when I just entered my new classes. If I were to name three things that was challenging it would be guitar and history. Guitar was dreadful at the start because I could not play it at all and it felt sometimes like I was being rushed to play while other were not. Second is history, my teacher tend to give out projects that were very tedious and time consuming I did well on all of them but one of them was on this website that was not user friendly at all you could not save your progress 100% of the time and I ended up spending 16 hours on the project. Thirdly art I am ok at art but I procrastinated every term and at the end of each one I had to spend a lot of time all at once to do the term project.

  9. Karishma blog:

So far, I haven’t had a BIG accomplishments. Though, I have accomplished term goals like getting honours I guess. This year I just wanted to get good marks and prepare myself for sec 4. Something challenging was definitely getting used to all the IB stuff. Like reflections every term and community service hours... But I realized now that those things really aren’t that bad and I really like this program:) It has been a nice year!

  10. The school years been going by really quickly and there's a lot to be proud of, but I'm most proud of my grades. I can't pick just one so I'll just say I'm proud of my 94% average for term 2. I was extremely proud and intend to keep things up for the third term. One challenge I faced was during the podcast project. Now, I'm not going to point fingers, however, SOMEONE deleted the podcast project a night before it was due. This proved to be insanely stressful and even though it worked out in the end and was handed in on time, it was definitely a challenge.

  11. I wouldn’t really say that I’ve accomplished anything his year as a grade 9 student. If I had to really think about it, my proudest moment was probably when I managed to stay awake for a full night and then somehow make it through the school day without utterly collapsing on the spot. Granted, it was no small feat; I did doze off on more than one occasion in my classes. Overall, the year sort of just passed in a blur, nothing really dreadful happened. The school days felt like a century each in the moment, but now it’s already May, and I am counting down the days to those two and a half months of sweet freedom.

  12. Grade 9 has for sure been my favourite year of high school so far. I find that this year went by so fast and that overall I had some pretty great teachers. There are a few things that I'm proud of myself for doing this year. I'm proud of getting honour role in both terms, staying organized and going to tutorials when I didn't understand something. Last year I was doing really bad in Math and Science but this year, my marks are over the class average due to going to tutorials when I didn't understand something that we learned in class. Staying organized has been a problem for me but this year I found a way to make sure that I knew where everything was and I tried my best not to leave assignments, homework and studying to the last minute. Obviously sometimes it would happen where I wouldn't do things until the night before but I think overall sec. 3 has been great year and by far my favourite year of high school so far.

  13. High math was definitely the most challenging thing all year. At the beginning of the year I really struggled with it and I didn't understand anything, which ended up in me getting really bad marks, but now I have it all under control. My marks are so much better than what they were. Also another challenge I faced was somehow staying awake all day long when I didn't even sleep the night before.

  14. Dealing with all the people in the school and in my grade, the teachers too not gonna lie, this year went by so quickly yet so painfully because each and everyday I would have the same teachers and sit with the same students and it was just overall a difficult grade 9 experience but I got through with it, seeing as there is less than 1 month left of school until summer and I can'tttttttt wait. There are still exams though which I'm bummed out about. Everyday just felt repetitive with different weather changes.

  15. I don't know clicked this year, but it's like my mind completely changed. I have made honor roll both terms so far and I am on pace to make it a 3rd time. Another thing that is amazing about this term is that I have a 95 in science for every term and a 96 in math(normal math but still).
