  1. my best friend when I was 4 or 5 years old was probably Christopher Rodinos, the reason we are no longer best friends is because our interests have drifted apart. having common interests is what creates friendships so when you start to have different interests you start to have less interest in each other. it is much less enjoyable to hang out with someone who doesn't love the same things as you so its always hard to find something to do. Chris and I are are still in contact given that we go to the same school we just don't hang out with each other anymore. the reason our friendship lasted is because our parents were always willing to drive us to one an others houses and we went to the same pool so we would always hang out after that.

  2. My best friend when I was around 5 years old was my neighbor, Noah. Every day, we would go outside and just play together. We loved going to the park and play tag. Unfortunately, we lost contact because he and his family moved. I have only bumped into him once one Halloween night, but other then that, we do not see each other anymore. Because we were right next to each other, it made it easy to visit each other.

  3. When I was 5 my best friend was my friend, Logan from pre school. I remember him being quite goofy and fun to hang out with. He and I were friends up until high school where we drifted apart mostly because we went to different high schools. We contact each other every so often but it is kind of awkward since we do not know what the other has been up to.

  4. When I was 5 my best friend was a girl named Kennedy. We knew each other even before preschool, we used to hang out everyday and even went to elementary together. We drifted apart when we started high school. She went to Bhs while I went to St.Thomas. We still talk but not as much as I wish we could.

  5. When I was 5 years old my best friend was named Luca. I had no friends when I first went to kindergarten and it was the same situation for many other students. He and I both liked to draw and due to that we formed a great bond. We were est friends all through the entirety of elementary and we would hang out and talk every day. Though I no longer keep in touch with him as when we went to high schools we both chose different schools. This lead to us no being able to hang out as much and so we slowly drifted away.

    1. It sucks that you stopped talking when you changed schools. It sounds like it was a great friendship though. Bonding over drawing.

  8. My best friend from since I can remember was a girl named Ariel, I can't remember how long we've been friends but I can remember I knew her since I wore diapers. I don't really know how she's doing at this moment, since I didn't really have a phone in 2009 ahah, but in time if I ever do come across from her, I'd really like to catch up with her and see how she's been doing these past 10 years. She was such an amazing friend from what I can remember, and obviously taller than me lol so I felt protected when I went to preschool even though there was nothing to fear with her. The only reason I think we drifted was because elementary school started and we went to different schools.

  9. My best friend when I was 5 years old was Max. Max and I lived on the same street and we both went to the same school. We used to always go to his house because he had a pool and we always had a great time. I still talk to Max but not nearly as much as I used to before. I think that we talk less now because we go to different schools and our interests have changed. Since we have less things in common, we slowly drifted towards having different friends and relationships.

    1. It definitely makes sense. In high school you make new friends but you also lose old friends.

  10. I honestly don't remember my best friend when I was 4 or 5. The furthest I can remember is when I was 8 or 9. Her name was Rebecca and we used to do everything together. I met her at a summer camp and ever since then we were best friends. She was really nice and I just remember doing everything with her. I also did gymnastics with her which made it easier to hang out because after practice or a competition we would either go to one of each others houses or hang out elsewhere. To this day I am still in contact with her but our we aren't as close anymore which makes sense because we now have different interests, different friends and we go to different schools. I'll see her occasionally but I don't see her often. I think that our friendship has lasted because every time we do see each other, we have a great time and because we've known each other for so long.

  11. My best friend when I was young isn't my best friend anymore but we're still friends. We met when I was living in Vancouver I remember we lived a bit far (so not walking distance) from each other but we still got together often. I'm not really in contact with him, mainly because I moved here, to Montreal, but whenever I go back there for Christmas we hang out. Other than that we don't really talk much. Our friendship never really ended but it didn't keep going either. I think we're stayed friends because our moms are very good friends, so we see each other anyways but we aren't good friends anymore because I moved away.

  14. I remember that i actually had two closest friends when i was five years old and we were the closest friends from kindergarten through grade 6 and we would always have so much fun together. One of them did dance and the other did karate. I actually am still in contact with them and i still hang out with them sometimes because they both go to John Rennie. I think that our friendship lasted so long because we were always the weird ones and we were thinking to ourselves why don’t we be weird together?

  15. When I was in kindergarten I remember being friends with everyone and not really having a favorite I suppose there was one that I was closer with and her name is Chloe. Chloe and I danced together and went to Pre school so when kindergarten started we were already bestie bestie. Throughout elementary we sort of made new friends but always kept each other in mind and we still keep in contact today.

  16. When I was in Kindergarten I had a best friend, and we still keep in touch today. We are actually very close still, she is still one of my best friends and I've known her since birth. I think One of the reasons this friendship has lasted so long is because we are family friends, therefor our families are very close, and it would be hard to just forget about each other when we see each other 24/7 because of that. I don't know if i would still call her my best friend, but that's simply because I have a lot close friends that I think of pretty much all equally, but for different reasons.

  17. When I was 4 or 5 my best friend was probably Ryan Olive the reason that we were friends was probably that we shared many interests and we went to the same pool which meant we always saw each other. We are no longer as close due to differing interests and past times and the fact that we haven't shared very many classes. We are still friendly but don't really hang out as much due to the reasons stated above. I might have a photo of us at that age due to my mother being a photographer but ill have to check if I find one then I'll post it later.

  18. My best friend when I was 5 years old was Becca. We were so close and everyday we would do stuff together because she used to be my neighbour. Unfortunately when we were nine she had to move to Winnipeg Manitoba, so I never get to see her anymore and we kind of distanced. I don't have any pictures of her but I remember her being a really great friend and she always used to put a smile on my face. She had blond hair and blue eyes and that she was really short for her age:) Maybe one day I'll see her again but I remember her as a good friend

  19. When I was 5 years old, I met a girl named Zoë. We were instantly best friends. We were the weird two people on the planet and everything worked out perfectly. She is still one of my best friends and we talk all the time. We've been through so much together and we even worked together for a week last summer, we will again this year! I am so happy we are still friends and she is one of the best people I know. One of my favourite experiences was either our time CITing together or the trip we took together in New York in the 4rth grade. We went with our moms on a joint trip and it was so so much fun. She's the best friend ever and I'm so glad we're still in contact and laughing until our stomachs hurt.

  20. When I was 5 years old I had met 2 boys playing hockey named Michael and Luca. These kids were cousins and played hockey with me until I was around 7 when I moved to a new house in Kirkland, therefore I started to play against them. I am still very good friends with them today and can still call them my bestfriends. I think our friendship lasted because we kept in touch through the years and trained together for the past 5 summers. Now they are both in Minnesota for prep school, we still talk whenever and hang out when they arrive back in Montreal during their breaks.

  21. When I was 4 years old my best friend's name was Lauren. We had been best friends all throughout our preschool days. Both our moms worked at the Royal Victoria hospital so they both sent us to the daycare attached to the building. Lauren was born in October 2004 meaning that once it came time for me to leave for kindergarten Lauren had to repeat a year of preschool since she was still 4. It was sad leaving her behind and having to say goodbye. It was a very emotional day for the both of us. We promised to keep in touch though it didn't take long for the both of us to eventually move on. After a few months of not talking she had sent me a letter. Her father was offered a position for work in London and her whole family was leaving with him. Even though we both seemed to have made new friends I still wonder how she is doing or what her life is like in London. I wonder what she looks like now that she's all grown up or if she even remember me the way that I remember her. We haven't talked ever since. Who knows, maybe one day in the future we will cross paths.

  22. I don’t remember much about my best friend when I was in kindergarten. I had a total of three friends back then, but the one I have been told I played with the most was Emma. She had short, curly brown hair that she always wore in a bow. I can also distinctly remember her towering over me. It was impossible to play hide and seek with her too. Unfortunately, the school we attended for kindergarten was closed down and we were all sent to different elementary schools in the area. We still played together at the park for about a year after the separation, but due to us being in different schools, I guess we drifted apart and lost contact.

  23. I am still friends with my best friend from elementary school. I remember when we were in kinder garden and I told him that Jesus died on the cross because he wanted to become Frankenstein for Halloween. he believed me and asked the priest about it the next day. We talk every day. Even though we dont go to the same school. I think were still friends because we think the same and also because i kept a small friend group.

  24. My friend in kindergarten was named Ella. We always hung out with each other and kind of protected each other from the mean people.I had my first ever sleep over at Ella's house, I remember I was so excited for it. Ella and I became best friends and stayed that way till the end of elementary. We ended up going to different high schools but we still talk occasionally and it's never awkward after not talking for a while because deep down were still best friends I guess.

  25. When I was 4 years old a girl named Jennie moved in across the street . She moved her from the uk, the first night she moved in we went across the street to introduce ourselves to the new neighbors and we became close in less than 24 hours . After that we spent like everyday together for years and we were the best of friends and got along to well the only reason we aren’t still close to this day is because she moved to boston a couple years later and we still speak every now and then and she visits in the summer sometimes .

  26. My Best friend when I was 4 and 5 was named maggie. She is 2 weeks older than me and we met before we were half a year old. We were always hanging out with each other and even today we are still good friends. I think that we stopped being so close in the later years of elementary, and we stopped hanging out over the winter when high school came around and we were in neither of each others classes. Something that I don't like about our schedules is that I notice there are some people who are my friends but for my whole high school up to this point at least I am in virtually none of their classes.

  27. I do remember my friend, since I was born my parents were best friends with matis’s Parents so naturally I became great friends with him, he lived right next door, we saw each other every day it was really fun, he was and still is like a brother to me. Sadly his parents got divorced and they had to move so now they live further away from me but I still see him from time to time and we stay in tough.

  28. For as long a s I could remember, I had this best friend. This best friend's name is Ben we've been friends since we were 2 years old! Although we've been friends for a long time, lately(2 years ago) we haven't really seen each other, so I took it upon myself to arrange something were we went to ISaute and it was really fun(this was last week). I think that the reason our friendship has lasted this long was because we are so alike and because we see each other regularly.

  29. My best friend from when I was five years old was serge. AT first he moved into my neighborhood and then started to go to my school. At first we were really mean to each other but as the year progressed we became friends. We did everything together up until sec3 came around when we had to start working and we became different than each other and we kind of stopped hangin out a lot but i still see him sometimes
